To calculate the material quantities needed for an installation, you need to know the measurements of the floor areas you'll be covering, as well as details about the client's preferences.

In this section, we'll talk about the process of estimating quantities and deciding on which way the seams and joins should run.

We'll also work through the calculations for various types of floor coverings.
